The Role:
Job Duties:
Project Management Planning/Scheduling Services:
1. Work closely with Project Managers and the Integrated Project Team (IPT) to define scope of work, develop work breakdown structures, identify target milestones, and develop critical path resource loaded schedules.
2. Help develop and maintain Project Control tracking and reporting systems.
3. Assist in development of baseline packages in support of project processes (AMS-003).
4. Comprehends internal and external reporting requirements and structures reports and communication tools accordingly.
5. Coordinates with contractors to understand and incorporate effects of schedules, estimates, resources and progress reporting into project control reports for proactive management and early warning.
6. Communicates via face to face, telephone and electronic mail with internal and external contacts.
7. Attends routine progress and planning/scheduling meetings.
8. Performs hands on field progress verification audits.
9. Maintains documentation subject to audit, such as baseline schedules, as-built schedules, progress curves, resources curves, etc. to ensure compliance with written guidelines, policies and procedures.
10. Work closely with IPT counterparts to understand and analyze scope of work, change orders, and project impacts.
11. Assist with impact analysis and long range cost forecast adjustments.
12. Ability to work independently and perform successfully in a team environment.
13. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
14. Strong written and oral communication skills.
15. Advanced experience utilizing Primavera (P6 R8.1 or higher) and other scheduling software such as MS Projects.
16. Proficient with utilizing Excel and developing and maintaining spreadsheets, charts, and curves.
17. Proficient with utilizing other MS Office suite software such as Word and PowerPoint.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
16 plus years project scheduling, construction background. Portfolio planning, P6 Code set up and P6 Rev 8.1 or higher software. Must be familiar with the Valdez Marine Terminal and their policies and proecdures.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Construction background, project management background, strong scheduling background and cost control knowledge.
