The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
The position is on the Wheatstone LNG project within the Central team.

Key resposibilities of the role include:

• Ability to prepare and manage an integrated Level 2 master project schedule using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate schedules updates from multiple contractors including monthly update of actual progress and forecast completion.
• Able to evaluate critical paths and ability to optimize project execution as required
• Able to develop, maintain and present detailed engineering, procurement/fabrication, construction and commissioning schedule with 30-60-90 day activity forecast.
• Key position responsible for planning and scheduling of IM&T (Information Management and Technology) scope from early phase work (scope development and selection of contractors) to installation and commissioning of IM&T products.
• Identify and track key interfaces between Upstream, Downstream and Central scopes of work.
• Work closely with cost engineers to calculate value of work done.
• Delivers weekly and monthly progress updates and schedule analysis to the Lead Planner in accordance with routine Project Controls reporting procedures and processes.
• Deliver monthly exception reports based upon analysis of the baseline project schedule, specifying areas of variance and recommended remedial action to the Lead Planner, Project Controls Lead and Business Services Manager.
• Support project scenario planning, risk assessment and management processes as needed for schedule risk analysis.
• Assure detail schedules conform to agreed common coding structure with appropriate alignment to the Project’s common Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Integrated Master project schedules, Levels 0, 1 and 2 for Phase 4.
• Assist in Developing and maintaining of Primavera operating procedures for use of the P6 system on the project.
• Support Central Planning and Scheduling teams with Primavera expertise.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree Preferred
• Project planning and scheduling experience with 5~10 years of experience in Oil and Gas sectors
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to safety leadership.
• Primavera system expertise
• Certification:Primavera P6
