Our client is a leading oil and gas service company.

The Role:
Job Duties:
Duties: Perform both planning and scheduling services for the IT Project Manager in accordance with the following job descriptions:
Project Management Planning/Scheduling Services:
1. Work closely with Project Manager and the Integrated Project Team (IPT) to define scope of work, develop work breakdown structures, identify target milestones, and develop critical path resource loaded schedules.
2. Help maintain Project Control tracking and reporting systems.
3. Comprehends internal and external reporting requirements and structures reports and communication tools accordingly.
4. Coordinate with contractors to understand and incorporate effects of schedules, estimates, resources and progress reporting into project control reports for proactive management and early warning.
5. Communicates via face to face, telephone and electronic mail with internal and external contacts.
6. Attends routine progress and planning/scheduling meetings.
7. Performs occasional hands on field progress verification audits.
8. Maintains documentation subject to audit, such as baseline schedules, as-built schedules, progress curves, resources curves, etc. to ensure compliance with written guidelines, policies and procedures.
9. Works closely with IPT counterparts to understand and analyze scope of work, change orders, and project impacts.
10. Assist with impact analysis and long range cost forecast adjustments.
11. Ability to work independently and perform successfully in a team environment.
12. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
13. Strong written and oral communication skills.
14. Experienced utilizing Primavera (P6) and other scheduling software such as MS Projects.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Required Experience and Skills:
5 plus years scheduling.
Scheduling using P6.
Valid driver’s license required.

General Skills:
Administrative
Project Management

Computer Skills:
Word processing
Spreadsheets
Databases

Education:
Minimum of HS Diploma/GED

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Familiar with IT related projects.
