The Company:
Our client is a major oil and gas operator based out of Houston, Texas.

The Role:
The Planner will be responsible for developing a TAR schedule based on issued work packages by engineering and work with the TAR team to provide buy-in to scope and timing.
ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Planner's duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Adhere to BP code of conduct, Project Execution Plan (PEP), Planning Scheduling Procedure (PSP) and other project processes;
- Coordinate and develop appropriate internal BP and external contractor contacts to assist in development of the plan and future schedule progress;
- Work extensively with Primavera P6 tool developing TAR schedule from work packages;
- Promote collaborative information sharing with Team-members and Contractors
- Foster close working relationship with construction management and offshore contractors
- Well developed interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and contractors.
- Good communications skills.
- Understands best practices and familiarity with Primavera software
- Analyse and monitor progress against milestones and associated construction activities
- Perform other associated duties as assigned;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Planner, applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Extensive 15 years’ experience with Primavera P6;
- Planning experience in the major project environment
- Experience in planning and scheduling brownfield modification TAR projects in hull and topsides scope;
- Experience working with small teams and contractors;
- Ability to read P&ID’s, detail design drawings and develop schedule activities from documents.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
In addition to the required qualifications, the successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate the following:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required.
CERTIFICATIONS: None specified.
LANGUAGES: English fluency required.
