The Role:

 Assist Planners with all aspects of planning process
 Liaising with Purchasing, Q.A., Finance, Workshop, and documentation control departments.
 Ensuring project documentation and files are maintained in line with company procedures.
 Creation & maintenance of basic project schedules in line with company procedures and client requirements
 Ensure that all work is undertaken in performed in accordance with requirements of the Aberdeen Quality & Process Manuals


 Provide planning assistance to the other functional planners in the workshop and projects departments
 Monitor progress of plans and provide updates for the relevant planners
 Create basic project schedules under the guidance of more senior planners in line with company processes and procedures
 Update internal status reports for the workshop planning group
 Collate and update data for KPI reports
 Monitor and update service order dates in the SAP system
 Formatting data for presentation purposes
 Liaise and communicate with other departments
 Ensuring all documentation, files and plans are maintained in line with company procedures and key index filing system, including SAP well files
 Additional and ad hoc activities as specified by the operations planner/supply chain manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
MS office packages
Planning experience, or a basic understanding of planning principles
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
Ability to meet deadlines by prioritising tasks & managing time efficiently
Excellent administrative skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure often to tight deadlines
Flexible approach and willingness to learn

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Planning software packages
