The Company:
An oil and gas company is seeking for a 12+ months contract Planning Analyst based in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
• Lead project services activities around scope, risk, schedule, plan, approvals, etc;
• Develop and/or manage schedules, baseline data and performance reports;
• Ensure alignment between Owner and Contractors on expectations around each contract's project schedule deliverables;
• Develop key reporting and management documents, e.g. Schedule Summary, Progress Summary, monthly reports, etc;
• Work closely with the project team to effectively manage and progress the project through well delivery lifestyle;
• Lead range analysis efforts on projects to model workshop outputs, determine schedule and cost ranges, and contingency;
• Coordinate development of appropriate schedule and cost benchmarks;
• Maintain projects' historical schedule performance reports;
• Liaise with appropriate functions to ensure that robust evaluation and scheduling services are provided in support of every project;
• Actively support Petroleum Project Services functional initiatives, as may be required. Participate in functional and peer reviews, as necessary. Provide project services (schedule) support for the North American Shale projects organization with primary responsibilities for well delivery and secondary support to SimOps (simultaneous operations).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
P6 experience is required for this position. A degree for this position is preferred. Ideal backgrounds would include business, engineering, or construction management. Certifications as a Project Management Professional or Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering are a plus. Project experience in the oil & gas sector is highly desired. Candidates with experience in onshore development projects (upstream and midstream) would be ideal but other suitable projects in downstream turnarounds or offshore developments would also be appropriate. TRAVEL TO EAGLE FORD IS A REQUIREMENT
