The Role:
Purpose:
• Under direction of Finance Manager, her major objectives are:
• Respect deadlines for actuals and forecast reporting
• Support to PIAC and administration HQ functions
Long-term Plan:
• Work with the technical team to create an effective planning process;
• Execute the planning process for the business to create a good and deliverable plan; Submit the plan on time and with high quality;
• Provide quality analysis on the plan to support the Leadership Team to make business decisions.
Internal reporting:
• Set up the reporting package and delivery of MASTROs;
• Assure input and output to provide analysis on the business’s performance for management purposes for both actual and forecast.
• Assist in the Statutory Audit Group reporting.
• Assist in the success of PVN yearly Budget and work program preparation.
• Assist in the preparation of economic evaluations.
Cost budgeting:
• Develop a good process to manage G&A costs, including establishment of forecasting process,
• Allocation runs and management of G&A costs to be in line with the requirement of CS segments.
• Monitor the MSR process to be matched with Approved Budgets.
Cost exercise:
• Lead bottom-up cost exercises across the business to support the Leadership Team to make timely decisions on cost management and intervention for a delivery of cost targets.
Business diary:
• Maintain the business integrated diary, aligning with the Head quarter’s diary, to enable the Leadership Team to manage the business activities throughout the year;
• Provide support to the Leadership Team in preparing for and conducting quarterly meetings.
Ethics & Compliance
• Assist management to improve the quality of the work; in line with respect the Rules, Procedure, Code of Ethics and the rules laid down by the hierarchy.
• Ad-hoc work as required.
Main Interfaces:
• INTERNAL: All departments
• EXTERNAL: Partners, eni SpA, administrative authorities
Note: Working Conditions: office-based
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• University degrees in Foreign Trade, ACCA member
• Good at both of verbal and written English, Vietnamese.
• More than 10 years in Petroleum Industry
• Competent in MS office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Competent in Accounting Software
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Strong financial accounting background
• Capable of demonstrating up to date technical financial reporting knowledge including in-depth knowledge of IFRS
• Deep understanding in Tax Legislation
• Great verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate subject matter;
• Experience in managing team with a range of capabilities
• Team player and able to work with colleague across the organisation
• Time management skill
