The Role:
Reports to Project Controls and Procurement Manager

In charge of EPC Contract termination and takeover planning, schedule development, final project progress calculation and reporting.

During the Package 4 scope termination and take over the Planning and Progress Engineer has to:
• Develop and monitor the overall time schedule of the Project, including post-termination phase.
• Liaise with Contractors’ Planning engineers.
• Follow Company’s Planning procedures.
• Maintain correspondence with Contractor related to planning and progress issues.
• Perform constant analysis of the schedule in order to inform the Termination Team and Management of any potential slippage in post-termination work execution.
• Liaise with Cost Control Engineer to ensure consistency of commitments/expenditures.
• Liaise with Document Control Engineer for checking the progress of documents.
• Provide support to Technical Reviews/Audits.
• Provide input to weekly and monthly reporting related to planning and progress issues and participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings.
• Anticipate potential problems of interfaces/critical activities. Analyse and propose corrective actions.
• Provide all required planning\progress documentation and information to Planning Team Leader for its integration into Overall Project planning.

Within the overall Project development, the Planning and Progress Engineer has to:
• Develop and monitor the overall time schedule for well pads, infield pipelines and power facilities.
• Liaise with Group Leaders with regards to Company’s planning issues.
• Liaise with Company planning engineers located on construction site.
• Interface with contracts and cost engineering groups on schedule and cost phasing matters.
• Weekly progress calculation and presentation.
• Prepare KPIs for project design, procurement and construction/commissioning activities.
• Provide support to project team in tenders preparation and evaluation, Contracts preparation with regard to planning, scheduling, progress measurement and reporting issues.
• Guide contractors’ planning engineers in development and maintenance of schedules, progress, reports.
• Review of contractors’ weekly and monthly reports.
• Critical activities identification, critical path analysis.
• Provide input for weekly and monthly reports and presentations, for Partners, state authorities, Total headquarter.
• Participate in weekly and monthly meetings, meetings with Partners, if required.
• Participate in weekly meetings with Operations with regards to construction activities status and plans.
• Produce miscellaneous plans and schedule exercises in support of the project teams.
• Provide input for and participate in risk analysis exercises.

Position based in TEPR Moscow office, Russia

Terminated LS EPC contract with a major Russian contractor for more than 800 MUSD budget

Project Schedule shall be a predictive tool for the Project team and manager for controlling the project milestones and completion date.
Primary objective is to ensure that all project activities are correctly planned and consistent among themselves and with TEPR other activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: Chartered engineer or similar
Work experience: not less than 5 years in Oil & Gas industry and Construction
Competencies / skills: Sound knowledge of scheduling techniques and tools (Primavera, MS Project, MS Excel)
Languages: Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Able to work in a multicultural environment, good communication skills
