The Role:
- Assist the package Manager for the preparation of consolidated planning of the package and its regular update. This shall include integration of the planning of the various contracts within the package (engineering, procurement and constructions).
- In the frame of preparation of the activities shutdown, Responsible for the following activities in coordination with the shutdown preparation leaders :
• Review and analyze relevant CONTRACTORS and suppliers scheduling and planning documents (procedures, barcharts, resources assignment…). Ensure that Progress calculation and reporting system used by Contractors and suppliers is conform to the Contracts requirements.
• Responsible for the consolidation of the planning from various contracts.
• Monitor the planning, progress activities and resources assignment of all the phases (Engineering, Procurement, Prefabrication, Installation, Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning).
• Identify of potential delays, analysis and issue of proposed corrective actions as required
• With the shutdown preparation leaders, Preparing the regular coordination meeting of planning and scheduling with contractors/suppliers and /or Internal COMPANY.
- HSEQ responsibilities :
o Support and enforce the HSEQ Project objectives and directives.
o Attend HSEQ meetings and training when required
o Report any unsafe acts or conditions observed
- In coordination with the package planning engineer, Ensure accurate reporting to Package Manager in coordination with Project Lead Planning Engineer in Controls Team.

HSE ACTIVITIES :Stop any dangerous situation, report any anomalies, unsafe acts or conditions observed.

From October 2012: Based in Main office Port Gentil, Gabon with the possible missions to COMPANY office, Contractor’s/supplier’s offices in France/ outside France and frequent mission to offshore platforms as necessary.
The indicative duration might be adjusted as per project evolution.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Safety
- Ability to anticipate and Synthesize
- Capacity to Audit and challenging contractors works.
- Team work, Communication, organisation
- Fluent in French and in English
- Leadership / hability to manage a team.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Graduated Engineer with minimum 15 years experience in scheduling and in following similar Packages (Modification / revamping offshore facilities / shut down / SIMOPS operations)
- Sound background in O & G engineering areas with good knowledge of offshore construction

 Deep knowledge of computer based planning and reporting tools in particular Primavera P6. MS Project, and Microsoft suite e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
 Experience of Project planning, and good master of Computer tools.

Techniques / Technical

- Strong knowledge of construction aspects, Offshore Operations, Shut Down and SIMOPS.
- Used to work with Reimbursable type Contracts
- Estimation of Work / man-hours.
- P6 and MS Excel
- Ability to read drawings and PID’s
