An international oil and gas company currently involved in more than 70 projects across 27 countries. It ranks in the Top 50 of global petroleum companies and is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Our Client has been part of the Australian business community since 1986 and is involved in a number of projects in Australia and the Timor Sea including the Ichthys LNG Project, Darwin LNG, and the Van Gogh Ravensworth and Prelude projects.

The Role:
Planning & Reporting Engineer – Turret, with responsibility for all planning activities for the development of the Floating, Production, Storage and Offtake (FPSO) Turret facility, such that they meet all the Company’s requirements. This role will be based within our FPSO Project Controls Team in our Turret Fabrication site located in Singapore.

Responsibilities will include :
• Providing effective construction planning and coordination of the Project team, inclusive of Contractors, Licensors and Subcontractors.
• Coordinating the planning effort provided by Contractors and facilitating the incorporation of any The Company's planning requirements.
• Liaising with the Contractors’ and Subcontractors’ Planning Engineers with regards to the status of deliverables and providing independent assessment of the individual Contractors’ progress.
• Closely monitoring all aspects of the schedule; appraising and advising Managers of progress and trends; and making recommendations in the event of any program deviations.
• Providing support to technical reviews/audits and risk assessments.
• Preparing regular, clear and concise planning reports and documentation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• University degree, with a minimum of 5 years’ planning experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 Pertmaster Risk Analysis software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
• Broad understanding of facilities engineering and Project Control issues.
• Highly developed cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
