The Company:
Our client is a global operator in the Oil and Gas sector.

The Role:
Job Purpose:
 To provide reliable and responsive project planning on our client's project in Ghana.
 Supervise the development of Company and Contractor schedules for all phases of a project and to monitor and report progress against these schedules.

Responsibilities / Key Objectives:
• To analyse project requirements and prepare a Project Master Schedule which integrates constraints and strategies for Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases.
• Prepare logic diagrams, in accordance with a Work Breakdown Structure, which form the basis for detailed level schedule reporting and analysis. Issue detailed activity schedules and expedite the return of schedule updating data.
• To monitor progress against schedules, analyse deviations and recommend remedial actions. Prepare agenda items for schedule review meetings.
• To prepare and maintain progress curves for each project phase in accordance with the Project Control Plan.
• To prepare and maintain in conjunction with the delivery managers and contracts advisors, a requisition tracking system that meets the requirements of the Project Control Plan.
• To prepare and make presentations to project teams and senior management on schedule control methodologies and procedures used by the Company.
• To maintain real time, the schedule in Ghana to allow planning individual team schedules reporting progress on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required.
• To receive schedules from the contractors and the DPR’s from offshore and integrate these schedules into the Ghana Development schedule.
• To provide look-a-heads and 'what-if/best case/worst case' and other schedules and activity presentations as required for the individual teams and the Ghana Development.
•To input and coordinate the weekly and monthly reports

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline

 Highly conversant in both planning and some cost engineering methodologies
 Experience of industry standard project controls systems such as Primavera, Artemis, or MS Project is essential.
 10 years experience in planning with at least 5 years spent in a similar role.
 Experience of scheduling engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction both in module/structure fabrication yards and offshore with hook-up/commissioning, vessel, diving and ROV activities.
 Experience with an installation contractor
