The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Accountable to the Downstream Planning Manager on all matters concerning Civil planning, analysis, trending, reporting including potential risks & mitigations.

Responsibilities include:
• Provide civil schedule interface inputs to Downstream Interface Planner in Primavera.
• Report directly to the DS CVX Civil & Underground Technical Support Manager and assist with the ongoing development of all Primavera related schedules.
• Functionally report to the DS Planning Manager on all matters concerning planning, analysis, trending, and reporting.
• Provide assistance in the phasing of implementation stages in conjunction with other DS Planning engineers.
• Provide DS Owners assurance checks during the ongoing input and interface coordination of the Gorgon Project Master Schedule.
• Support the schedule impact assessment of the ‘Management of Change’ process in line with change management procedures and the Project DOA.
• Provide support to the Central group in the form of information and provision of hard copy data documentation.
• Civil & Underground Responsibility – undertake regular site visits to BWI to review Infrastructure & Construction Site Prep & Civil progress.
• Undertake Monthly updates of DS Level 1, Level 3 and Level 3 schedules.
• Monthly Report contributions. Assurance checks on a monthly basis of all DS Civil & Underground Civil & Site Prep Contractors execution & implementation schedules.
• Conduct DS Progress & Performance Analysis Report.
• Review & determine each Sub-Contractors Critical Path / Element Analysis. Provide assurance checks and guidance on planning oversight on DS EPCm Contractors teams to ensure that they provide accurate plans and that the project’s best interests and goals are maintained.

In addition :
• Interface with the EPCm Planning Team to ensure visibility and understanding of the issues at hand.
• Participate and coordinate Downstream Risk Analysis exercises
• Initiate and participate in all relevant Planning meetings
• Produce miscellaneous Plans in support of the DS Civil & Underground Technical Manager & Owners Team.
• Participate and support Central Group and DS Planning team.

Safety Responsibilities: Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by, Supporting the Gorgon IIF culture. Understanding and implementing as far as possible the client's vision of Operational Excellence.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership running the planning and scheduling effort for multi-contract mega projects and proven capabilities working in a matrix organization. Gorgon is a complex megaproject. The project is spread across multiple worldwide locations for design, fabrication, and construction. Significant communication is required with other parts of the Downstream Project and with both the client and JVP stakeholders. The effective candidate will not only possess good technical project controls skills but also be adept at building and maintaining relationships at multiple levels.
