Our Client is a Leading Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The Role:
MAIN FUNCTIONS
• Planning and scheduling of the integrated Construction and Commissioning schedule to support Site and Project Management
* Interface with the contractor and EM field Construction Planner, Site Project Controls Lead, and the Site Management Team as it relates to planning
• Interface with construction contractor on the development of the fabrication and commissioning schedule
• Interface with Site Project Controls on ongoing stewardship of the Pt. Thomson schedule
• Participate/support/lead as requested discrete tasks to improve project systems, reports and tools

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execution
• Responsible for coordination of Pt. Thomson Level 3 fabrication and commissioning schedule with HHI planners:
* Work with HHI, the construction team, and the project management to develop the Baseline Level 3 schedule in line with project objectives
* Interface with Field Construction Planner for construction details and updates to include in integrated schedule
* Interface with commissioning on the timing of system availability to ensure effective complete and turnover of systems, ensure the priority systems are identified and progressed throughout the phases on fabrication, and advise if systems activities slip
* Monitor and validate accuracy of HHI reporting
* Interface with WPF schedules in California and Alaska
* Coordinate Pt. Thomson Level 1 schedule roll-up and reporting for site activities
• Monitor the timing of deliverables and assess the impact of late deliverables and materials
• Evaluate work sequence and productivity improvements in field construction and influence construction contractor, along with site management, in implementation of improvements
• Evaluate and report system commissioning sequences and report changes in sequence due to ongoing construction activities
• Ensure timely communication with the Site Management Team on planning status and issue resolution
• Assist with management presentations & planning sensitivities as necessary
• Coordinate with Project Controls Engineers on the monthly cost and schedule stewardship package

Assessment & Analysis
• Review status of Pt Thomson schedule on a monthly basis including the following:
* Summary of changes made during the month
* Man-hour expenditure summary (overall, critical path, planned, etc.) & updated S-curves
* Activities started, activities completed; constraints added / removed
* Project end date with all constraints removed
* Man-hours available to be burned for fabrication based on engineering deliverables issued
* Monitor contractor manning levels and identify periods of compression and saturation
• Summarize lessons learned, ensuring capture of lessons in lessons-learned databases
• Assess progress and productivity and perform regular schedule risk assessments relative to completion and cost
• Weekly / Monthly Progress Measurement (shared with Project Controls Engineer):
* Compile offsite / subcontractor progress weekly
* Verify roll-up progress provided by HHI on a weekly basis; compile and issue to the Construction Site Management for verification
* Update progress measurement tracking sheets as necessary
* Create & track quantity rundown curves
* Coordinate / verify progress measurement system updates and set rules of credit
• Develop and maintain leading indicators relative to compression and potential delays
• Assess periods of acceleration and assess probability of success relative to cost of acceleration

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• College degree and / or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience with Primavera 6
• Good coordination and interface capabilities
• Korean Fabrication Yard Experience
• 5+ years industry/ construction experience
• 5+ years project experience
