The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Develop and maintain the master project schedule and reporting performance progress, overall day-to-day planning and integration of schedules into the overall project schedule.
1. Manage the planning and scheduling parts of assigned projects as part of the overall program. Perform special analysis for resource loading and performance progress.
2. Coordinate the work flow through the manufacturing plant to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
3. Assist in the preparation of project master schedule and perform critical path analysis. Prepare schedule performance measurements reports, forecasts and studies on a regular basis.
4. Observe and comply with safe work practices and ensure that safety is demonstrated as the highest priority.
5. Develop and implement Project Execution Plan scheduling documents related to project control procedures in conjunction with supporting project ancillary functions.
6. Perform schedule analysis of alternative studies and schedule impact of scope adjustments before and during schedule deviation negotiations.
7. Develops plans and provide recommendations for mitigation of impacts of schedule issues and problems.
8. Provide project management consultation & schedule risk factors on factors affecting the timely completion of projects.
9. Produce resource histograms, logic diagrams and summary bar charts, as required.
10. Provide support in development of work scopes associated with scheduled and non-scheduled outages.
11. Keep current of the latest developments in scheduling, inspection standards, codes, practices, procedures, methods and safety requirements, as applicable.
12. Report target and actual schedule completion data to relevant management & benchmarking services, to help improve site project schedule performance.
13. Comply with EH&S guidelines and processes.
14. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or any related engineering degree.
• Planning / Scheduling Certification.
