The Role:
Purpose of Role:

Support of projects in Middle East & Central Asia (ME&CA) region from manpower and activity planning aspect as per contractual requirements.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

• To support via optimal planning management techniques and tools the Central Asia and Middle East Field projects for installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair and modification of projects undertaken by Company. The position reports directly to the General Manager and interfaces with project management groups to effectively forecast and allocate.
• Develop the most appropriate method and sequence of installation, commissioning and maintenance for projects within ME&CA region, in conjunction with management. Plan and oversee the entire programme of work and anticipate a contract's demands in terms of labour, materials, equipment and technical challenges. As well as ensuring that activities are completed safely to a high technical standard, including responsibility for specifying the timing of the contract.

Principal Accountabilities:

• To ensure that installation/maintenance activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner to enable resource scheduling.
• To support the installation/maintenance team with required information to fulfil their obligations.
• To deliver and continually refine a comprehensive installation and maintenance plan to support the defined equipment.
• To setup and monitor, report the running of the supporting site based service engineers within different projects ensuring that operational requirements are not impacted by any related installation and maintenance issue.
• To assist with the direction of maintaining internal operational practices to ensure the highest quality of work standards relating to the management, execution and administration of projects.
• Plan all materials and resources to execute the program, manpower and material logistics
• Coordination of Scheduled Maintenance activities with the Operations Team.
• To input and analyse progress information into computerized planning tools.
• To attend project review meetings both on and off site and also internal production and project meetings.
• To maintain and develop planning systems and tools.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety and Environmental (HS&E) requirements and company procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
• 3-5 years of Planning Engineer Experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in related field
• Communication skills and the ability to interact at a high level is essential.
• Project Management in Context, Planning the Strategy, Executing the Strategy
• Familiarity with rotating equipment
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Excellent computer skills, especially MS Project
