The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer based on a 12 month contract in Perth. The role requires an experience planner with expertise in Compression Platforms.

The position will be responsible for the following:
• Creation, monitoring and maintenance of the Project Master Schedule.
• Establishing and maintaining planning, scheduling and progress monitoring procedures and guidelines.
• Establishing/maintaining the hierarchy of plans and schedules in conjunction with the Project Management Team.
• Confirmation that the Project Master Schedule complies with company process and procedures
• Liaison with Contractor planning organizations to ensure consistent approach to planning and progress reporting.
• Ensuring alignment of all supplier, contractor and sub-contractor schedules.
• Identification and monitoring of critical and sub-critical interface milestones between all stakeholders
• Monitoring performance against schedules and development of monthly progress reports
• Probabilistic schedule risk analysis as required
• Early identification and elevation of schedule risks, and provision of expert advice to mitigate
• Participation in change impact assessment processes
• Supporting development and revision of Project scheduling procedures.
• Establishment and reporting of key Project schedule objectives.
• Support preparedness and participation in the Project Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis, workshop
• Maintain overall integrated Project Master Schedule and coordinate interfaces between stakeholders.
• Provide overall Project schedule reporting to company management & Joint Venture Participants
• Examine peripheral Project impacts to schedule
• Preparation of presentation materials to support Project Assurance and approval processes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Able to produce a level 2 schedule for the project Produce and maintain schedule for Phase 2 Monitor and analyze Contractors' schedules and performance
• Compression Platform experience.
• Develop and maintain planning procedures
• Support company and JV partners reporting requirements
• Utilised Primavera P6
• Experience of working on a major capital project
