The Role:
The Planning Engineer will be Providing planning support to schemes including but not limited to: -

Preparation of Tender schedules and submissions in collaboration with the Estimator, Design Engineers and Construction delivery team.

Planning support for Engineering, Procurement and Construction schemes, including but not limited to monthly progress updates of contract schedules, critical path analysis, resource profiles, earned value reports, schedule narrative and production norm reports etc.

The Planning Engineer will be Working collaboratively with the Client and other Alliance framework members for the successfully delivery of a large portfolio of schemes.

Commercial entitlement promoted and highlighted to delivery teams, including suitable planning support.

Ensure all planning and project control activities are delivered in accordance with the client guidelines and ‘Planning Best Practices.’

Depending on workload across T&D business, planning support may be required in other areas of the business

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Higher Tech

A Planning Engineer with initial or established planning experience, looking for the opportunity to progress their career and experience.

The individual shall be proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. Desirable to have experience in the development and delivery of substation, overhead Line and cable schemes

• Working collaboratively with the Client and other Alliance members for the successful delivery of projects
• Good written and spoken English skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
It would be desirable if the Planning Engineer will have experience of NEC conditions of contract but not essential. Enthusiasm and ability to integrate into a team, with the skill to liaise and challenge the delivery team
