The Company:
A well-established construction installation and services contractor has a strong pipeline of work leading into 2015. With their projects primarily within unconventional coal seam gas, a vacancy has arisen for a Planning Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role:
As a junior/intermediate level planning position, the ideal candidate will have proven experience within a contractor environment on oil & gas projects locally. With a view to progressing their career further in cost/planning disciplines, this role requires a strong level of construction exposure, hence a degree qualified engineer with relevant experience in the field will be best fit. With a broad focus, this role will be site based, reporting to the Project Controls Manager, on a 21/7 rotation. Start date early to mid January (if available).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree qualifications in Engineering (i.e. mechanical/electrical/civil)
- Relevant oil & gas experience (coal seam gas preferable)
- 3 to 5 years post-graduate experience
- Cost and project planning exposure
- Ability to understand and interpret scope of works
- Technical and detailed understanding of technical designs/P&IDs
- Ability to travel to site on a regular, rotational basis (21/7)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Exposure to compressor installation/gas gathering project experience
