The Company:
Our client is a major leading operator in the oil and gas industry.

The roles are in the following locations:
**Angola Congo Nigeria Venezuela & Iraq**

The Role:
Main Job Function:
To support the project services manager for the planning of upstream Projects, scheduling of activities, phasing of costs for budget purpose. Provide support for Project time and cost control, monitor the project progress, provide accurate project time and cost reports, verifying time and cost performance against plan, and identifying areas of potential time target and budget overrun requiring corrective action
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Project palnning and control, use of project control tools
• Scheduling and time control, use of scheduling tools
• Project work and cost progress analysis
• Support for preparation of project procedures on planning and control
• Preparation of project WBS and CBS according to cost estimates and planning
• Detailed scheduling of project activities and support for the budget/forecast preparation
• Control of contractors and project team schedules producing project progress reports
• Include detailed contractors schedules into the project master schedule and identify critical path activities
• Check physical progress, actual costs against plans and budgets, support for the estimate to complete
• Preparation of Project of work progress and cost Reports
• Plan and control of procurement and contract plans, preparation of contractual procedures/specs, support to contarct administration
• Perform earned value analysis

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Technical diploma
• Engineering degree preferred
• Considerable experience in an equivalent position
• E&P Management processes and tools (Generic)
• Organisation Processes: Project Management process, Suppliers qualification and feed-back ,
• Work team management methodology, "Internal client" organization process,
• Document management, Contracting Strategy, Contract Management
• Project Management: preparation of project Program & Budget, Project Planning and
scheduling,progress and cost control, Risk analysis, project Close-Out
