The Role:
Provide necessary advice, support and services to Project Management and project team as regards project planning and scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting, coordination of schedule and cost phasing. Initiate, implement and maintain planning and control systems to ensure that progressing and monitoring of the project are carried out in the most orderly and expedient manner. Communicate with the PMT and Sub-Contractors concerning the status of the Project Schedule and keep Senior Project Management appraised of all Schedule related matters.

•Develop and update detailed project schedules in cooperation with contractors and project team.
•Create the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Object Breakdown Structure (OBS) to include all major areas of the Project.
•Develop and maintain overall project schedule, where more than one Contractor Schedule is involved Integrate the Schedules using EPS coding structure.
•Evaluate contractor proposed schedules. Work together with contractor to prepare a Schedule fit for purpose which is in line with the OBS (Object Breakdown Structure) and represents the Scope of Work.
•Perform or coordinate schedule risk analysis – create Project Risk Schedule.
•Track project progress relative to schedule to detect deviations and progressing deviations early.
•Report project progress and schedule deviations to Project Management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1.Core Technical Experience
•Previous experience within project planning/scheduling in the oil and gas industry, including Project Planner in large Capital Projects
•Technical competency in the field of Project Planning.
•Strong depth and breadth of knowledge of Project Planning area.
•Familiar with the use of proprietary and custom computer software systems used for project management.

•Bachelor degree (B.Sc.) or equivalent education.
•Less formal education may be compensated with documented relevant experience

Other Requirements
•Domestically and/or internationally mobile.
