The Role:
Job Description
1Establish the guidelines for planning and scheduling for the organisation and for each specific project
2Identify Scheduling basis and assumptions
3Review representation of Project Scope in schedule
4Review and evaluate schedule durations for all disciplines activities relative to the support of project milestones. Supervise/direct the calculation of durations and other considerations affecting activity durations
5Lay down productivity norms
6Plan, supervise and organise resource loading and levelling
7Identify Critical Resources for the Organization with respect to forthcoming workload
8Review claims for “Extension of Time” and “Acceleration Cost”
9Review/Assist Planners in the schedule analysis of each project.
10Participate in Project Risk Analysis and map it to the schedule
11Guide / Assist planners to prepare Cost, Time and Resource Matrix
12Prepare detail staffing plans for planning and schedyling activities
13Organise training sessions and review performance
14Prepare Overall Summary Report for the Management
15Compile Historical data and advise recommendations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Academic Qualification Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering
Minimum Relevant Working Experience 15-20 years in Oil and Gas – Heavy Construction Industry
Required Trade Skills / Certificate Primavera (P6), Microsoft Office Project, Microsoft Office
