The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. The Role:
Support to the project team for the following current Subsea Projects:
•Subsea tie in manifold installation on behalf of a 3rd party.
•Field life extension project – new umbilical & control system and new subsea structures.
•Water injection line replacement.
•Subsea hot tap and manifold installation.
•Support to TEP-Norge affiliate for subsea tie-in of new pipeline.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Ensure project reports are issued on time and of appropriate quality.
•Ensure that project plans are developed, reviewed and amended in line with project schedules.
•Ensure scheduling procedures and documents (Company and Contract) are maintained.
•Provide planning advice and guidance to Project teams (Company and Contractor).

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
•Develop consolidated multi-project (subsea related) summary schedule.
•Update and revise Project Specific scheduling procedures, as and when required, as per Company Rules.
•Participate in the analysis and evaluation of bids, providing planning and scheduling input into the “Recommendation to Award”.
•Define, create and maintain Project Work Breakdown Structures, working closely with Project manager and Cost Controllers.
•Review and approve Contractors’ progress measurement system, including performing regular reviews of planned versus actual progress.
•Consolidate scheduling information for analysis or reporting.
•Prepare monthly progress reports to highlight planned versus actual progress, forecasted end dates, areas of concerns and/or necessary recovery plan activities.
•Prepare weekly reports to highlight all main weekly events for ongoing projects and modifications.
•Prepare half-yearly “semestrial” and “Fiche Project” reports highlighting key milestones and achievements of ongoing projects and modifications.
•Attend project meetings with Contractors to provide/obtain planning update and to raise, discuss and seek resolution of planning-related issues.
•Prepare / update high level project schedules and liaise with BD Planning Engineers for incorporation into monthly Corporate Planning Reviews.
•Organise and coordinate Project POB reviews, as and when required, to optimise utilisation of allocated POB to various ongoing projects.
•Regular liaison with OPS planning team and Contractor(s) Planning Engineers to ensure effective all-round coordinator for project delivery.
•Liaise with Cost Controllers to ensure consistency for installed quantities and actual engineering and construction man-hours figures.
•Oversee project schedule for Partner/Management with the responsibility of informing all parties of the overall schedule status, highlight any anomalies and providing detailed analysis as required.
•Maintain highly effective and productive relationship with Project team members and Contractor Representatives ensuring that all interested parties are informed and involved in planning activities as appropriate.
•Develop and maintain, as appropriate, offshore vessel schedules.
•Develop and maintain 3rd party notifications schedule for multiple subsea projects.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Sound knowledge of planning techniques including planning and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project) and management software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).

Experience in subsea oil and gas engineering and construction

Proven ability to maintain accurate and detailed planning documentation.

Ability to perform accurate progress monitoring and forecast systems.

Schedule analysis experience which can provide recommendations to optimise remaining schedule activities.

Ability to communicate analysis findings and required recovery plan activities to Management through concise written reports and clear verbal/visual presentations.
