The Company:
Our client is a leading global operator in the oil gas and energy industry. This role supports our client's project in Oman.

The Role:
This role will initially be located in our client's project offices in London (West). The post will transfer to Oman in 12 months, the applicant will need to transfer too. The role will be residential, office based. No rotation is planned.

• Develops appropriate plans/schedules and monitors and updates plans/schedules for the Gathering, Wells and Export System (GWES) Delivery Team through to Close-Out. Integrates contractor and our client's own generated plans/schedules for the GWES Delivery Team into the Master Control Schedule. Ensures appropriate physical progress measurement for GWES Delivery Team aligned with the overall project progress measurement procedures.
• Implementing planning/scheduling support. Coordinating with contractors to interrogate and integrate schedules and updates.
• GWES Planning Engineer(s) supports GWES Project Support Team Leader (PSTL), including support for Gathering System, Wellsites, Export System and all Infrastructure (outside batter limits) scopes.
• Accountable to Project Services Team Lead to provide all planning and scheduling support to the Delivery Manager.

• Implement the Project Planning/Scheduling Controls strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting the client and contractor roles and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain integrated, logic-linked schedules for assigned Delivery Team(s) that can be aggregated into a project-level schedule
• Integrates and aligns project interfaces priorities/requirements into the delivery team schedule
• Validates contractor prepared schedules and resources
• Ensure Schedule Basis is clearly documented and understand by the Delivery Team management
• Provide the necessary schedules to ensure the development of proper estimates and studies within a project stage
• Implement, analyze and trend schedules within each project stage and for entire project until completion / close-out.
• Assist with preparation of schedule risk analysis
• Provide schedule input to and implement schedule element of the change management procedure.
• Implement progress measurement and reporting system, including roll-up levels, section weightings and reporting.
• Prepare and present Project information to appropriate stakeholders.
• Assist contractors and site teams in schedule development and progress measurement

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably for a large oil and gas operator.
