The Role:
FORENSIC PLANNER / PLANNING SPECIALIST – PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA - $$ ATTRACTIVE – 2 TO 3 YEARS CONTRACT - LONG TERM PROJECT

We are now seeking a Planning Specialist to support the Project Delivery Teams in Perth, Barrow Island and the international Fabrication Yards in the areas of contractual programme reviews, as-built programme compilation, claims avoidance, claims management, delay and extension of time analysis and (informal) dispute resolution.

Success will be measured in terms of

• resolution and settlement of delay and disruption claims in terms of settled value against budget, timeframe and submitted value (i.e. savings)
• adherence to compliance requirements and approved Contract Administration Procedures and Project Policies
• successful performance in fulfilling contractual requirements.

Essential requirements of this role:

The post holder should hold a recognised technical or business degree, preferably supplemented by 'hands-on' construction planning experience, supported by substantial practical major project experience, both site and head office based.
The post holder should hold the ability to demonstrate requisite experience in major project and contract management including leadership, technical writing and verbal skills. Written and verbal skills must be strong in plain English.

Proficient in the use of applicable computer software particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Must have strong understanding of the Primavera suite of software and especially P3/P6 and possess the ability to readily scrutinise and understand critical path networks and impact analyses and lead the appropriate delay analysis.
