The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Management of the Central Gorgon Project Control Team. The team directly supports the Gorgon Project Management Team and provides cost estimates, budgets, reports, performance analysis and recommendations. The central team also establishes procedures and guidelines for Upstream and Downstream project control activities and ensures a consistent approach across the project.

Accountable to the Project Controls Manager on all matters concerning planning, analysis, trending, reporting and potential risk mitigation. To include: Implementation and management of the multi location Gorgon Master Schedule in Primavera P6, version 7.0. Development and maintenance of core project procedures which will provide clear guidance to team members in remote locations. Coordinate and assist in the production of annual budgets in conjunction with Budget Managers and Lead engineers. Coordinate the mid-year update of the same. Coordinate in the production of the Gorgon Development Master Schedule, PMSR2. Assist in the implementation and management of the ‘Management of Change’ process in line with local and centralized change management procedures and the Project DOA. Provide support to the Contracts Group in the form of tender evaluations, Contract Schedule development and overall schedule guidance.

Coordinate on a monthly basis (with support from the remote team members)
• Overall Master Schedule & Forecast.
• Progress & Performance Analysis Report.
• Critical Path / Element Analysis Provide guidance on planning oversight on Upstream and Downstream asset teams to ensure that they provide accurate plans and that the project’s best interests and goals are maintained.
• Coordinate project Risk Analysis exercises
• Maintain a Central Planning Lessons Learnt log.
• Produce miscellaneous Plans in support of the location teams. Provide guidance on planning oversight on Upstream and Downstream asset teams to ensure that they provide accurate plans and that the project’s best interests and goals are maintained.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Apprenticeship, C&G, Trade Certs
15 + years planning within Oil & Gas Industry
Primavera P6 expert level. Lead Planning function on onshore oil and gas plants

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Operator/EPCm experienced, leading a planning team, excellent communication, able to work at Project Leadership level.
Mentoring and using insights and experience.
