The Role:
Responsible for the coordination of Plant & Equipment, Small Tools and associated consumables in accordance with company procedures ensuring that all requests are managed in the most cost effective method
◦Responsible for cost reporting, controlling and tracking of all Plant & Equipment, small tools and associated consumables
◦Ensure all requests are authorised, cost coded and the most cost effective method of providing such Plant & Equipment either by purchase, lease or rental is proposed
◦Responsible for tracking the recertification and hire period of Plant & Equipment
◦Responsible for maintaining an asset register showing the current location of equipment
◦Responsible for producing monthly reports showing on hire, start date, purchase cost/ hire cost, location, asset and certification status
◦Perform cost benefit analysis against expediting equipment to ensure timely delivery
◦Liaise closely with Asset focal Points, equipment division and third party suppliers
◦Attend 3rd party inspections as required
◦Attend Project Progress Meetings
◦Attend monthly meeting with Frame Agreement Vendors
◦Capture cost initiates, savings and cost avoidance following company procedure
◦Ensure equipment is returned to onshore workshop base expediently
◦May involve offshore trips for audit purposes
◦Be Involved in systems improvement and effectiveness through regular training, education and coaching
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
◦Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
◦Preference to be proficient in company computing systems including Oracle & SAP
◦5+ years relevant experience
◦Good oral and written communications essential
◦Strong team working ethic, enthusiastic and positive
