The Role:
As the demand for our client's expertise continues to grow, a role has become available for a Plant and Transport Officer to join their Transmission and Distribution business based in Treforest, Wales.

•To work within Wales & West Utilities (WWU) and Western Gas Alliance (WGA) procedures
•To undertake work on behalf of the Alliance in a sustainable, safe, timely and cost effective manner
•Anticipate activities required to ensure that current and future workload are delivered
•Ensure plant orders are provided quickly and accurately to teams
•Capture information from various sources
•Accurate recording of information on cost systems
•Maintain and update filing systems
•Maintain a safe working environment
•Support the implementation of the WGA HSE&E Commitment Statement
•Report all accidents, incidents, damages, near misses and illnesses, and correct hazards and near misses if appropriate
•Comply with the HSE&E requirements relevant to their duties and responsibilities
•Liaise with customers and other departments and interpret information to minimise delays
•Build rapport and communicate with team members to alleviate errors
•Ensure quality of workmanship meets minimum standards
•Take part, agree objectives and comply with the performance review process and timescales
•Monitor workload and implement remedial steps where necessary
•Assist in the investigation of near misses

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Adhere to and work within the Guiding Principles
•Demonstrate team working across the Alliance
•Attend team briefings and consultations
•Good Communication Skills
•Fair Excel Skills
•Flexible Working Pattern
•Previous use of CPA would be advantageous
