The Role:
Position Summary
The Plant Interface Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all internal and external interfaces within the PR LNG Project, a mega project in the Select stage of development. Some of the identified interfaces are with incoming pipeline and utilities, permitting agencies, engineering contractors.

The incumbent will be responsible for directly engaging with internal and external stakeholders and partners to seek consensus and approval of hard and soft interfaces.
Key Accountabilities
• Coordinate internal and external interface matters through different phases of project execution.
• Develop and own the Projects Interface Management Plan (IMP)
• Work with all project groups to identify interfaces, prepare and update interface documents.
• Work with the engineers within the upstream, pipeline and plant teams and pre-FEED EPC contractors in relation to interface management, specifically focusing on alignment of project work processes and project requirements.
• Facilitate the flow of Project interface information/deliverables and ensure that interface problems between the interfacing parties are prioritized and resolved
• Develop and own the Project Interface Register (PIR). The PIR will assist the various contract teams in managing their interface needs/deliverables toward closure
• Monitor progress/completion of interface actions by all interfacing parties to ensure that interfaces are managed and resolved in a timely and cost effective manner
• Monitors the competitive pre-FEED engineering performed by multiple contractors to ensure conformance to basis of design, ensures all contractors are progressing engineering on similar terms so that the pre-FEED deliverables are directly comparable.
• Support and facilitate implementation of assigned Assurance activities for the Project Development including VIP and best practices
• Quantify potential value and realized value for VIPs implemented during project development and execution.
• Conduct reviews / audits of interface management work processes within the project team (including contractor) as required by the Assurance, Interface and Risk processes.
• Review the effectiveness of the pre-FEED contractor's internal Interface Management Plan and recommends necessary adjustments.
• Escalate interface non-compliance issues to the Engineering manager and Contract holders
• Liaise with the Project Services Manager/Project planners to ensure that interface deliverables progress are properly addressed in the overall project planning and control process
• Issue regular updates of the PIR to interfacing parties
• Providing information and support to the Project Leadership Team for planning and reporting purposes.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and execution of projects

People Management

• Actively engage and assist in the personal and professional development of members of the project engineering team
• Proactively manage the annual performance and development cycles within the required timeframes
• Ensure all reports abide by company policy in relation to HR policies and procedures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute

Experience Needed:

• Verifiable performance and delivery in a number of discipline engineering activities.
• Technical professional with proven experience in a wide range of international project environments including commissioning and startup.
• Knowledge and experience of LNG projects and technologies is preferred.
• Experience in a client/operator environment on projects in the Select, Define and Execute stages.
• Knowledge of the engineering, safety, environmental and operational aspects of projects during the early development stages.
• Knowledge of breadth and depth of engineering needed to manage the quality control of contractor technical work, ensuring appropriate techniques and standards.
• Skilled in the scope and application of required technical assurance processes
• Experience of identifying project critical success factors and risks, and in developing and implementing plans to manage risks
• Proven recor
