The Role:
•Responsible for operating the plant in a safe, environmentally sound, and prudent manner and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, agreements, contracts, permits and government authorizations.
•Ensures that the plant in maintained in accordance with the O&M Procedures Manual and vendor recommendations, Prudent Utility Practices, and in compliance with EPC Contract and Subcontract warranties.
•Operate the plant in such a manner to optimize heat rate, minimize operating cost, and maximize the life of the project.
•Costs effectively manage and schedule maintenance so as to maximize availability, minimize downtime and satisfy the requirements of the Power Purchase Agreement.
•Hire, train, and manage the O&M staff and manage the activities and functions of all facility personnel.
•Prepare or have prepared an annual operating plan and budget and direct all facility expenditures per the agreed to plan.

•Establish and implement systems to log, track, trend and forecast essential parameters of plant technical and financial performance.
•Provide superior customer service, total quality and a positive employee climate.
•Remain on site as necessary to achieve the above and be available on a call out basis in conjunction with other facility management staff in case of unusual events.
•Facility ISO 9001:2008 Quality program representative.
•Facility ISO-14001 environmental program representative, to be Chairman of Safety Committee.
•Documentation & Change Control at facilities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Six Sigma training is preferred

•Strong oral and written communications skills

•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Minimum of five years of power generation experience.
•Engineering Degree (BS or MS).
•Fluency in English and Thai.
•Prior profit and loss responsibility.
•Demonstrated leadership and communications skills.
•Knowledge of gas turbine and steam turbine technologies.
•Total system plant equipment knowledge.
•Working knowledge of PC computers
