The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Our Client is looking for a HSE Advisor to join the Hook up and commissioning team offshore.
Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Present / participate at inductions to all new starters and workforce returning from rostered break
• Attend pre-start and toolbox meetings to monitor the quality of communication process (e.g. verbal and non-verbal and receiver understanding of message conveyed)
• Attend / participate in JHA development and review meetings to confirm relevant controls identified in HAZID’s have been considered / included and communicated to the workforce
• Participate in Daily PTW Meetings and ensure requirements defined in the Platform PTW Procedure are being followed during the planning of Work Permits
• Monitor operations to identify unsafe acts or unsafe conditions. Formally report unsafe act observation and interventions
• Participate in incident investigations and communicate root causes and actions to Line Supervision and work groups
• Participate in H&S audits and inspections and communicate findings to Line Supervision and work groups
• Participate in planned emergency drills and exercises as required and support changes to improve emergency response times and functionality

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:

• Education Grad Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent undergraduate degree as a minimum.
• Experience The preferred candidate will have 8+ year experience as an H&S Advisor, ideally within the Oil and Gas industry gained on large major capital projects in a commissioning environment or an offshore producing oil and gas facility.
• Able to work in a team environment and willingness to assist others;
• Ability to build positive working relationships with all levels of the workforce;
• Implementation and application of HES management systems on a fixed or floating oil and gas facility / producing facility (Platform, FPSO, FSO);
• Understanding risk assessment techniques (HAZID
