The Company:
Opportunity to work in Baku as a PLBH Site Rep. Our client is one of the largest petrochemical companies in the world.

The Role:
General
• Monitor Contractor’s activities during Scope of Work generation and CTR development
• Monitor contractor performance on site and ensure all contractual requirements are complied with
• Report regularly to senior management on the progress of works and any issues
• Ensures that all relevant requirements are complied with in terms of clients procedures and practices, Classification Society and State Marine Administration requirements
• Ensure all project risks are identified, plans developed and executed for their removal or reduction
• Implement Project HSE and QA methods to the vessel refurbishment and upgrades program.
• Manage installation contractors site supervision teams to ensure HSE targets are met and safe working environment is provided for all refurbishment and upgrade works.
• Deputise for the Vessel Upgrades Manager when required.
• Provide support to offshore operations during critical installation activities, commissioning periods, mobilisation etc.

Contractor Management
• Evaluate performance of contractor and sub-contractors. Provide constructive feedback and intervention as required
• Provides guidance, advice and training to project team, contractors, and third parties as required to ensure understanding of the vessel upgrade objectives.

Schedule control
• Continuous interrogation of schedule to ensure opportunities to maintain schedule are realised
• Assist contractor in re-scheduling activities or scope in order to maintain project schedule

Interface Management
• Liase directly with Company Safety, Quality, Cost, planning and management team to provide feedback in respective areas of interest
• Assist Contractor with Technical Queries related to upgrade works

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Academic /experience requirements:
• At least 8 years successful track record of upgrades on marine vessels in the Caspian sea
• Experience of managing large cross discipline projects on site
• Recognised CSWIP level 2 qualifications
