Electrical Distribution System for Engines (EDSE) is a group within the EDS department responsible for the delivery of engine harnesses and associated end items such as link harnesses, brackets and fasteners for all forward model programmes. EDSE works very closely with base engines team in Powertrain Operations at Whitley to deliver to the unit gateways for new engine programmes. EDSE also works in close partnership with rest of the EDS organisation to ensure robust integration of engine harness in vehicle applications on all forward model programmes. This vacancy has emerged due to the recent re-structuring in the EDSE organisation and to backfill an existing position. The Role: Lead Engineer role within EDSE is responsible for the delivery of forward model designs of engine harnesses and associated end items for the assigned engine programmes.
