The Company:
A newly established and rapidly growing engineering service company situated in Europe, created by former engineers of a very well established OEM who are developing the company to compete internationally, mainly focusing on the automotive industry.

Currently, this client are working with some of the best car manufacturers in the world, specialising in complex assignments and offer excellence in development and integration of systems and attributes for complete vehicles.

The Role:
As part of an established, motivated and fast moving team, the successful candidate would work for an experienced team leader to help deliver world class engine systems and components across several client applications. Delivery scale would be from Concept to Production Launch. Keys areas of responsibility; Cross Functional Team Leadership in delivering Designs (working with manufacturing, CAD engineers, purchase, STA and suppliers), Project management to the programme milestones (including cost and weight control), Supplier sourcing and management, Problem resolution, Change management via WERs releasing system, Quality Process deployment (DFMEA, robustness and DVP), Launch preparation via APQP and PSW deliverables.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of successfully managing the delivery of automotive components, through prototype build phases through to production launch. PC skills including project, excel and word.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of component delivery to meet cost, performance and attribute targets. Good understanding of engine cooling system and requirements. Excellent communication skills. Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and MS Project. Strong understanding and application of design quality tools such as DFMEA, Robustness Studies etc. Awareness of manufacturing processes associated with engine cooling system. Working knowledge of product delivery system ( AIMs , GPDS and EFDVS systems) would be an advantage.
