The Role:
Power Train Integration Management (PTIM) Engineer Deliver Powertrain Integration and Program Management function for V Car Powertrain programs. Lead the ICA Powertrain team through the PMT ensuring relevant information and priorities are cascaded. Use Integrator to manage the program deliverables and document evidence of completion to GPDS gateway deliverables. Maintain PTIM documentation such as open issues lists, PT line-up, health charts. Represent Powertrain at vehicle reviews such as the PST and VPAT. Present powertrain program status to Powertrain and Vehicle management. Manage and lead Powertrain content at the Vehicle CPE Tech Reviews. Co-ordinate Powertrain support for Prototype builds and update actions. Establish compatible program assumptions including weight, attributes, fuel economy, cost and quality in conjunction with P-T Basic Design and Product Planning, then deliver the program to target whilst ensuring alignment between the Vehicle Program and Powertrain functions. Manage the Release and Change Management processes for Powertrain through AvBoM and WERS. Lead BOM validation and Publish Point Review process in support of prototypebuild phases. Monitor all open engineering issues arising from DV testing. Lead engineering discussions to drive closure of cross-functional issues. Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Understanding of Program business fundamentals such as TFLE costs, PMS charts, VPPs, Quality waterfalls etc.
Good working knowledge of GPDS, AVBoM, SALT, eFDVS and other Project Management tools.
Excellent PC skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other MS Office tools.
Good understanding of Sharepoints.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management including cross-functionally.
Project management and negotiation skills will be required
Minimum of 2-years of PT Development experience.
Engineering degree or equivalent or two thirds of a degree course completed with commitment to complete studies.
Minimum of 2:2 Engineering degree in:- Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electronic Systems, or Electrical Engineering. Other Engineering/pure science degrees will be considered on a case to case basis

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of specific systems and processes. GPDS, eFDVS, Concerto, etc.
Gasoline or Diesel, Vehicle or Dyno calibration development
