The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Key Deliverables:
The general technical scope of the deliverables is as follows:
a) Project Engineering
For all engine management sensors and actuators on all engines
New project and model year support
Perform all design and validation activities for new components in tandem to the overall engine
management programme
Liaise with VW Group and suppliers to obtain technical data for components and resolve problems
found during development
b) Support Engineering Change
 Project management and engineering for sensor and actuator changes:
 Supplier led for obsolescence
 Cost optimisation led
 Quality led for field issue resolution
 Focal point for communication with VW Group partners regarding sensors and actuator technology
within the Powertrain Electronics team
c) Current Models (in the field)
Support field quality investigations with engineering knowledge / capability
Provide the information link between Engineering and Quality for components within responsibility
d) Team Continuous Improvement
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the team local processes and technical
competence.
Work with Functional Manager and Lead Engineers to deliver process changes in line with the
team sensors and actuators strategy
General Deliverables
1. Responsible for meeting all business requirements for their components in terms of function,
performance, legislation reliability, safety etc…
2. Responsible for executing product development in accordance with the Bentley product emergence
process.
3. Responsible for planning and conducting a test and validation programme appropriate to the
component/system and which will achieve the requirements of “Engineering Sign-Off”.
4. Provide support for all vehicle prototype and production build phases in terms of parts provision
