The Role:
o Collating monthly production volume information by working closely with Business Analysts and the Accounting team for month end reporting
o Update monthly report for presentation to Finance Manager
o Co-ordinate monthly review of assets under construction moving to depreciable final fixed assets
o Manage quarterly reserves review with Chief Engineer
o Collating annual reserves information by working closely with Business Analysts and Engineers for depreciation calculations
o Calculate product inventory
o Send or Pay/ Take or Pay and other monthly bookings for gas contracts
o Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and providing information for Balance Sheet Analysis
o Completion of Taxation returns
o Other ad-hoc tasks as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Accounting qualification and have at least two year’s experience within a finance function, preferably with knowledge of fixed asset accounting.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Good organisational skills, demonstrate ability to prioritise work, be able to work on own initiative with limited supervision and consistently meet deadlines. This role includes many tasks which have strict deadlines in line with global SAP financial closing schedule.
Good communication skills are required. The role requires regular communication with colleagues in Finance (Business Analysts and Corporate Reporting), Tax, Hydrocarbon Accounting and the Fixed Asset Accountant.

SAP experience is preferential but not fundamental. Strong excel skills are expected.
