The Role:
We are currently recruiting a Preservation Co-ordinator based at our clients Aberdeen office, to carry out the following:
• Carry out periodic preservation as per schedule and rolling stock procedures
•Ensure all system updates within SAP are accurate and updated in a timely manner
• Liaise with asset managers / controllers regularly with regards to anomalies on client stock preservation
• Ensure preservation consumables are kept at a suitable stock level
• Liaise with Clients during stock audits and advise on preservation status of equipment
• Carry out work in accordance with Company Quality System, Operating System.

As necessary, perform other duties, requiring essentially the same level of skill & responsibility when required.
• Ability to work to a high specification in order to improve and maintain quality.
• Apply a systematic and logical approach.
• Be disciplined in developing organisational systems, procedures, rules and norms.
• Must have the drive and enthusiasm to work to tight deadlines.
• Seek direction and authority from others when and if appropriate, and achieve set goals in a timely and efficient manner.
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator both verbally and written.
• Be able to work as part of a team and exercise tolerance, consistency and when dealing with others.
• Be able to establish, develop and maintain customer relations.
• Be a self starter, capable of working on own initiative in order to achieve tasks and overcome problems as well as provide direction for others.
• Proactive, flexible and decisive with the ability to be innovative and challenging in line with Company values.
• Be accommodating and receptive to change.
