Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Preservation Coordinator – Inlet to cover the assurance of preservation and maintenance of equipment and materials stored on Barrow Island.

The Preservation and Maintenance program will require assurance of Project quality management systems and controls. The program is set to provide implementation plans for each of these key success areas crossing organizational boundaries and removing “organizational silos” during the transition of the equipment/asset across multiple asset custodian interfaces. The key premise of the Program is to establish clear understanding of roles and responsibilities within the Equipment Preservation Execution plans.

In this position you will be required to exert a high influence on the downstream project teams. The impact of the program is ultimately risk mitigation against negative impact on the project schedule/equipment integrity. You will also be accountable on Preservation and Maintenance Process matters concerning assurance of the required plans, procedures, schedules etc for the projects preservation and maintenance programs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have strong understanding and experience of Materials Management including QA/QC. Other key requirements include:
• Strong understanding of the issues surrounding preservation during all phases from Shipment through Construction.
• Strong understanding and experience of Maintenance processes.
• Good knowledge of the project technical specifications with regards to materials handling.
• Good knowledge of FSI and Quarantine processes and the potential to impact preservation
• Good knowledge of the Preservation/Depreservation and the potential to impact Quarantine requirements
• Good coordination, communications and Influencing skills.
• Good general understanding of project procedures and requirements with regard to construction, testing, plant inspection, turnover, commissioning, maintenance and start-up.
• Perseverance to ensure that preservation focus is retained.
• Ability to work within a multi discipline project team.
