The Role:
Reporting to the Pressure Systems Integrity Team Leader, the Pressure Systems Integrity Engineer is accountable for delivering a technically robust and cost effective Inspection regime that demonstrates ongoing compliance to topside containment performance standard. Owing to an increased level of activity related to life extension projects, additional pressure systems integrity engineers are sought to be dedicated to support these.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - LIFE EXTENSION PROJECTS
• Assessing inspection data against fitness for service acceptance criteria
• Establishing the acceptability to blast on live pipework
• Providing specialist integrity management input into blasting on live line risk assessments
• Defining repair and execution methods to address anomalies found

OTHER RESPONSABILITIES IN SUPPORT OF ROUTINE IM ACTIVITIES
• Support the development of annual inspection plans
• Support the development of the technical content and schedule of the Assets inspection plans
• Support the timely execution of the defined inspection plan
• Support for inspection, materials and corrosion related issues, including review of recommendations from inspection anomaly reporting.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of offshore operations
• Working knowledge of risk identification, evaluation and mitigation methods
• Working knowledge and experience of inspection methods, data interpretation, defect assessment and fitness for purpose
assessment
• Working knowledge and experience of repair design and execution methods
• Good understanding and working knowledge of relevant Industry codes
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and expereince of defining whether blasting operations can be undertaken on live systems
