The Company:
Our client is one of the largest providers of energy consultancy and engineering support services in the Uk. Within the nuclear sector they have an exceptional reputation for delivering innovative, cost-effective business and engineering solutions to owners, operators, regulators and suppliers to nuclear licensed sites.

The Role:
Principal EC&I Engineer

•We would expect you to be degree qualified in electrical and electronic engineering (or similar), and be able to demonstrate sound technical experience. In addition you will have experience in one or more of the following:
◦Conventional/nucleonic instrumentation;
◦Safety Instrumented Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Fire Detection Systems;
◦Availability, Reliability and Maintainability;
◦Proven design experience; including concept, optioneering, detailed, construction phases.
◦Fault trees, FMEA, HAZOP knowledge;
◦Automation system design.
•A good track record in key client management.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities for both roles will include:
•EC&I equipment specification, assessment and justification;
•Front End Engineering Design package generation;
•Project cost, time control and reporting;
•Liaison with clients, suppliers and contractors;
•Developing C&I capability and growing the business.
•We are looking for individuals with the ability to lead, mentor and develop a team, who are capable of growing the EC&I business. Determination and drive to succeed is essential, as is the ability to develop strong networks with our client and within our organisation

Additional Information
•Nuclear industry experience is an advantage however, we are principally looking for first class E,C&I Engineers who have the capacity to learn and develop their skills for the nuclear industry.
•Successful candidates will be required to undergo a security vetting process and offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted
•Travel to other company sites may be necessary.
