The Company:
Our client is a leading UK based operator with oil and gas projects in multiple locations across Africa. Due to continued growth and to enable the support of offshore subsea projects we are now looking to appoint a Reservoir Engineer with EOR experience into a permanent role to be based in London

The Role:
The successful candidate will be tasked with the following activities and responsibilities:

• Undertaking exploration work involving enhanced oil recovery techniques for assets in central Africa
• Specific reservoir engineering responsibility covering chemical enhancement processes to include polymer, alkaline, ASP and CDG studies
• Design and assessment of EOR surveillance and modelling programs ahead of field development work
• Oversee the application of reservoir engineering and simulation software (Eclipse, STARS, BUILDER, RESULTS, GEM & CIMOST, Petrel RE, Saphir,
and Petex)
• Produce high quality and accurate reservoir models to include lab work studies
• Mentor other reservoir engineers to develop skills in EOR and chemical process simulation
• Lead subsurface reservoir analytical studies and assessments
• Provide a link between Subsurface studies and Facility design and Well Engineering groups – ensure transfer of data and requirements
• Production and reserves forecasting
• Conventional material balance analysis
• Specialized Reservoir Engineering Analysis
• Integrating subsurface studies to optimise field development

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
We are therefore keen to receive application from candidates with the following skills and experience

• Minimum of Degree (MSc) level of education
• Significant EOR Chemical process experience to include lab and simulation technology
• Ability to lead a integrated subsurface technical team
• Previous African onshore projects experience desirable
• UK or EU right to work in the United Kingdom
