The Role:
Responsible for the overall implementation and direction of the estimating functions to provide services, procedures and methods for the timely and accurate response to client, project management, departmental, and company requirements. On small or multiple projects the individual may act independently or may direct a staff of other estimating individuals. On large projects the individual may direct a staff of other estimating individuals. On very large projects the individual may report to an upper level estimator and may direct a portion of the staff on the project. Directs the development of quality material, labor and sub-contract take-offs, coordinates information between engineering, purchasing, construction and maintenance requirements, and helps determine the execution plan for the project. The individual will also direct and execute indirect and conceptual estimates. Skillfully utilizes estimating methods and the expertise of other project professionals to establish total project estimates. Seasoned expertise is required to assure that all pertinent information is updated in relation to the present scope of work.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 15+ years estimating of current experience in offshore platforms / floating solutions / subsea installations projects. Subsea project experience a definite plus. Minimum 8+ years experience as a Lead Estimator, responsible for managing all aspects of an estimate’s life cycle.
Strong computer skills an absolute must! Minimum 7+ years working knowledge of QUE$TOR Offshore, Seimens Oil & Gas Manager, database software (MS Access) or risk evaluation tools (@RISK) a definite plus.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in a related field desired but not required.
