The Role:
Principal Investigator
POSITION DETAILS
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Investigation:
• Provides facilitation guidance and coordination for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of small reliability incident cases.
• Have general knowledge of Production Operation, I&E and Mechanical.
• Identifies and recommends equipment and system level improvement projects based on the investigation action items, reliability, and cost data and works with engineers from other disciplines and groups as needed for a reliability improvement project.
• Works with offshore team and engineers to ensure all RCA action items are closed properly.

Reliability Studies:
• Collects and verifies the reliability data from operation and works with Reliability engineers to ensure that data integrity for reliability analysis.
• Can use simple reliability tools (e.g., Pareto, SpotFire) to analyze data.

Data Management and Analysis:
• Reviews and verifies the accuracy of data with Reliability Technologist for reporting out on a monthly basis and takes a role of Champion on REFLEX as functional user to support and educate offshore operation team to use REFLEX.
• Review all corrective maintenance work orders of the critical equipment in CMMS for technical accuracy, completeness, and being useful data for reliability analysis to support Worst Actor Identification and Resolution (WIR) and Opportunity Identification and Resolution (OIR) processes.
Training/Mentoring :
• Mentors on investigation and Reliability studies for new PI.
• Have an ability to advise others on the Company design standard.
Consulting:
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of reliability analysis/industrial code and standard.
• Coordinates reporting and replication of "Best Practices" among the Thailand asset teams.
