The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
For our client we are looking for a Principal Management Accountant – Corporate to support the Finance Team providing management accounting and other services to the company’s Australian group assets which includes both operated and non-operated Joint Ventures.

In the position you will support the General Manager Finance and Group Manager Internal Reporting in respect of performance management, strategy, policy development, and execution of day-to-day finance operations. You will also improve efficiency and effectiveness of finance services through continuous improvement of processes (e.g.: budgeting/forecasting, AP, reporting) and participate in team development. You will have oversight of the AP, business expense (CfTE - SAP Cloud for Travel and Expense) and HR Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI) teams as well as other associated central accounting services functions.

Other key responsibilities include:
• Lead change in Management Accounting and support initiatives for the broader Finance team
• Align services and processes with internal service providers to improve service level and develop greater process integration and integrity
• Effectively deliver reporting, budgets and forecasts, and other relevant financial and accounting information to enable decision-makers to discharge their responsibilities
• Implement quality systems that support adaptability and continual improvement.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
• Undergraduate Degree - Accounting (essential)
• CPA/CA (or similar international recognition e.g. CIMA)
• Essential - 7 years of SAP ERP and demonstrably capable – FI, CO (PS) module with a good understanding of MM, WMS, BW, BPC and other modules.
• Essential - 10 years’ experience as a costing/management accountant in diverse working environments including E&P operations, projects, exploration, and manufacturing/production
• 5 years working closely with financial or joint venture accounting team
• 5 years in Exploration and Production major working with business planning processes - including asset reference plans and life cycle costing

Proven track record with the following:
• Performance measurement, target setting and benchmarking that leads to new ways of conducting business or managing activities
• Team development, supervision techniques
