The Company:
Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.
They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier, Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company.

The Role:
We are currently sourcing a Senior / Lead Mechanical Engineerto join our clients North East Office.

This is a strategic appointment to work on a new portfolio of projects. Home location is Teesside, Billingham.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record in Chemical, Nuclear and Oil & Gas projects and be experienced in the specification and procurement of mechanical equipment packages, with responsibility for delivering project requirements within budget and timescale.

The candidate is required to have good all-round, flexible mechanical engineering experience in the specification of rotating & static equipment and mechanical packages, and be familiar with relevant national and international standards and with relevant EU Directives.

Must be capable and experienced in producing equipment specifications & data sheets, enquiry requisitions, bid evaluations, purchase requisitions and reviewing vendor documentation for refinery equipment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experienced chartered Mechanical Engineer.
Excellent technical communication and co-ordination skills.
Degree qualified, CEng MIMechE
