The Role:
Accountable for provision of Mechanical Engineering within the Project organisation in accordance with the requirements of the Contract.
Responsibility –
- Provide Mechanical Engineering technical support to, and implementing instructions from, the Project Team Leader
- Take ownership of Mechanical technical queries to ensure resolution to the satisfaction of the Project Team Leader
- Ensure the Mechanical engineering support provided satisfies the appropriate Asset Safety Case/COMMAH and the PFEER/ DCR performance standards are not compromised by any Piping Engineering activities.
- Contribute to the development of the plans, schedules and estimates for individual workscopes and integrated plan.
- To liaise with other disciplines in the execution of the work.
- Ensure that all Mechanical design changes are captured by the change control process
- Contribute to the development of the plans, schedules and estimates for individual workscopes.
- Ensure that all Mechanical work is carried out in accordance with Asset priorities and schedules as set out in the integrated plan
Authority –
- Project authority for technical supervision of Mechanical resources (ME4 & ME5)
- Project authority for the production, checking and approval of Mechanical deliverables.
SHEQ –
- Ensure that all work complies with Contract and Company health, safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures; project specific SHE and Quality plans; and agreed interfacing requirements with Sub-Contractors, as appropriate.
Management System –
- To ensure all work is executed in compliance with Contract requirements, Company Management System requirements and associated procedures and all relevant standards and national and international standards, as appropriate.
