The Company:
Our client are one of the largest oil & gas operating companies in the UK. They currently require a Principal Process Engineer to join their ever expanding technical team. This is an excellent opportunity with a company renowned for offering a diverse range of projects worldwide.

The Role:
The main focus of the role is the development of the firm’s process engineering simulation tools and techniques. You will be responsible for ;

- Providing process engineering support for all client assets
- Providing coaching and training to the firm’s global team
- Provide Process Engineering input to current and future development projects
- Oversee contractor performance in process engineering for conceptual work
- Involvement in Technical Assurance reviews and PEER Reviews/Assists
- Develop Best Practise Guidelines
- Liaise with other disciplines to optimise development opportunities
- Identify technology development opportunities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Relevant Engineering degree
- Experience in offshore and onshore oil and gas production and processing
- Experience designing topside floating production systems as well as key marine system interfaces
- Experience in a client/operator environment
- Experienced in process design safety
- Able to perform process simulation
- Strong experience in flow assurance and fluid flow
- Experience with E&P (Process through to operations) multidisciplinary interfacing to support process dev studies.
- Experience of one or more of the following; Hysys/Unisim, Pipesim, FlareNet or FlareSim.
