The Company:

They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK

The Role:
◦Ensure that all allocated responsibilities are dealt with accordingly
◦Develop strategies within the Team in conjunction with the Lead Engineer for continued improvement.
◦Review / Generate Scopes of requirements and Basis of Design.
◦Produce Process designs for platform modifications and to participate in multidiscipline project teams.
◦Process Budget Costing and Control in liaison with Asset Focal Points and Client.
◦Technical liaison with client technical authority.
◦Carry out offshore surveys (if required), liaise with Engineers / Designers.
◦Guide Team of Engineers and Designers on smaller Projects.
◦Checking of varied deliverables from the Process Team.
◦Interface with Asset Focal Points and Project Engineers to provide input to estimates, and resolve technical and operational issues
◦Rigorously work to the project plan, provide initial and continuous input to the plan and ensure that progress is accurately monitored and reported.
◦Input to the development of associate engineering personnel

Principal Responsibilites
◦Responsible for producing process design work as directed by the Lead Engineer
◦Maintain the required high technical quality of work
◦Ensure that work output and those of subordinates comply with the relevant procedures and practices.
◦Ensure as far as practically possible all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
◦Keep up-to-date with technical developments, national and international standards and legislative requirements related to the scope of the discipline
◦Assist in the training and technical development of engineers and graduates.
◦When required, prepare estimates and assist in the review of proposed schedules
◦Provide technical assistance to other disciplines as required
◦Provide documentation and drawing deliverables for inclusion in workpacks and/or design books on time to meet offshore deadlines
◦Produce cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe
◦Participate as necessary in discussions with Clients and visit job sites as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
◦Degree in Process Engineering or related subject.
◦Significant, relevant Oil & Gas experience in a design environment with an engineering contractor or operator. Should possess a proven track record in design and commissioning of multi discipline projects
◦Experienced in simulation technology, i.e Aspentech suite, and other process software such as Pipeflow, Flarenet etc.
◦Familiar with platform operational requirements.
◦Familiar with HAZOP and HAZID procedures
◦Familiarity with International design gudelines
◦Essential to have full certification to travel to UKNS installations
