Our Client is an international leader in both marginal field developments, in life-of-field engineering and in production support.

The Role:
Basic Purpose of Job:
• Accountable to Lead Process Engineer on CNR Project to provide high quality process engineering and job delivery.

Main Duties:
• Basic Functions
o Ensure that all allocated responsibilities are dealt with accordingly
o Develop strategies within the Team in conjunction with the Lead Engineer for continued improvement.
o Review / Generate Scopes of requirements and Basis of Design.
o Produce Process designs for platform modifications and to participate in multidiscipline project teams.
o Process Budget Costing and Control in liaison with Asset Focal Points and Client.
o Technical liaison with client technical authority.
o Carry out offshore surveys (if required), liaise with Engineers / Designers.
o Guide Team of Engineers and Designers on smaller Projects.
o Checking of varied deliverables from the Process Team.
o Interface with Asset Focal Points and Project Engineers to provide input to estimates, and resolve technical and operational issues
o Rigorously work to the project plan, provide initial and continuous input to the plan and ensure that progress is accurately monitored and reported.
o Input to the development of associate engineering personnel

Principal Responsibilites
o Responsible for producing process design work as directed by the Lead Engineer
o Maintain the required high technical quality of work
o Ensure that work output and those of subordinates comply with the relevant procedures and practices.
o Ensure as far as practically possible all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
o Keep up-to-date with technical developments, national and international standards and legislative requirements related to the scope of the discipline
o Assist in the training and technical development of engineers and graduates.
o When required, prepare estimates and assist in the review of proposed schedules
o Provide technical assistance to other disciplines as required
o Provide documentation and drawing deliverables for inclusion in workpacks and/or design books on time to meet offshore deadlines
o Produce cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe
o Participate as necessary in discussions with Clients and visit job sites as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education & Qualifications:
Degree in Process Engineering or related subject.

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
o Experienced in simulation technology, i.e Aspentech suite, and other process software such as Pipeflow, Flarenet etc.
o Familiar with platform operational requirements.
o Familiar with HAZOP and HAZID procedures
o Familiarity with International design gudelines
o Essential to have full certification to travel to UKNS installations

Significant, relevant Oil & Gas experience in a design environment with an engineering contractor or operator. Should possess a proven track record in design and commissioning of multi discipline projects
