The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 30 Countries worldwide.In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Construction Stage.

The Role:
We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer who will be the Operations Process Engineering technical authority covering Process Engineering governance, advice and support. In the Pre-ops phase, the Principal Process Engineer is responsible for assuring BoD compliance in the design, construction and start-up for the operating assets. In the Operations Phase this role will provide principal engineering level support to the offshore facilities to ensure safe, reliable and optimized operation. It will also provide TA2 support to both the onshore and offshore facilities.

Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring readiness of Process Engineering discipline for facilities start-up
* Assuring technical integrity of assets for discipline for start-up and ongoing operations
* Reviewing and approving relevant key data and documents including P&IDs, Safeguarding memorandum
* Ensuring all relevant Process Engineering standards and specifications needed for Operations are issued, reviewed and approved
* Developing and maintaining "steady-state" and "dynamic" process simulations for all process package models including upset modes, (control) strategy verification and operator training/start-up assistance
* Process Engineering support contracts and management of resources
* Technical reviews and audits.

This role is a 12 month contract position based in Perth.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Key qualifications, skills and experience required:
* 15+ years' experience in oil and gas operations, vital to have significant relevant operations experience.
* An Engineering Degree in either Chemical or Process Engineering
* Experience as a technical authority for Process Engineering within operations .
* Needs to have a comprehensive understanding of the offshore and onshore (LNG) business processes, production processes and associated impacts on the operating asset's performance.
* Ability to communicate with internal and external bodies on technical issues
* Strong leadership, organisational and time management skills.
